I Make Some Noise, Get Some Sleep

My Auntie Jessie and Cousin Rosie went home to Michigan so not it's me and Mommy and Daddy around the house. We get visitors, too.
These are some pictures taken before Jessie and Rosie went home:

I am hollering and no nonesense,
but I don't remember what all the noise was about.
Rosie is making things better.

What we've got here is a quiet, awake moment.
I look around, and I like what I see.
(What I see is Aunt Jessie behind the camera.)

OK. I'm pissed.
Mommy took all my clothes off
and then rubbed me all over with water!
On purpose!
I'm sure glad that's over.

I'm snoozing, but that's a smile on me phiz.
More pictures soon!

I Go Home

Now this is better. I like this better.
I'm still a sleepy guy but I like my new digs.

This is a smile, right?

This is my new friend Patrick

Rosie, like I said, holds me like I like it

Me and Grandma Toni

Hmm. Doesn't taste right, but I'll give it a try.

You say there's an Olympic snoozing competition?

Wow. Lookit those colors.

Hey! Who's that taking my picture? Oh, it's Aunt Jessie.

My mommy shows off my burly and expansive back.

Next: I Can't Imagine, but I'm guessing there's some sleep in there somewhere.

My First Full Day

On my first full day out here I was a sleepy guy who had a lot of visitors.
I got moved out of one room and into another. Again.

Rosie holds me like I like it.

You talkin' to me?

My mom is pretty
What's all the bright lights about?

My daddy and Uncle Todd, who holds me well, too.

Okay. I admit it. I'm pissed and mommy's smiling!

Next: I Go Home

15Feb06: I Am Born

My name is Jacques Russell LaMere.
I was born at 7:43 p.m. 15 February 2006.
My mommy is Amy-Ann LaMere. My daddy is Jeffrey LaMere.
I weighed 8 pounds 13.4 ounces at birth. I was 21-1/4 inches long.
My hair is redish like my dad's. My eyes are blue at the moment.

My Auntie Jessie and Friend Patina were with mommy and daddy when I popped out.
My cousin Rosie and Friend Sarah were right down the hall.

Here are some pictures of me. (Click on a picture for a larger version.)

I am 3 minutes old
I am dry now, mostly
I'm told I resemble my dad
I'm not this red always
Get that bright thing outta my eyes!

That's my mom and my dad is holding me
I am saying "hello"
My dad is the biggest, bestest dad I ever saw
Somebody's wiping me again

There's three of us now

I am weighed

I feel safe here
I feel cold here
I am mostly head and chest right now
Not cranky . . . emphatic. Yeah. That's the ticket.
My mom is on the phone. She's had a rough day too.
I am measured
I am vocal
My Cousin Rosie gives me a rock
My Friend Sarah gives me a rock

It's bright out hereI'm gonna take a few winks.
Nice to be on board, folks!
